Sterling North Partners · Autonomous Visibility Systems

Every location you run
is generating answers.
You're just not seeing
all of them at once —
or being told when it matters.

Across your sites, divisions, and teams, the data that shows where you stand — on performance, quality, cost — already exists. It's just never been connected into a single live view your leadership can act on. We build that. In weeks, not months.

The Problem

Why most multi-location businesses are making decisions on data that's already weeks old — and what that lack of visibility actually costs them.

Most multi-location businesses run on data that's scattered across systems that were never designed to talk to each other. By the time a report lands on leadership's desk, it's already weeks old — assembled by someone who had better things to do. It's not a data problem. It's a visibility problem. And the organizations closing that gap aren't smarter — they just see their business more clearly, more often.

Deep Dive

The New Gold Standard: Moving from War Rooms to Autonomous Visibility

How a Medallion architecture, MCP-native build, and an agent monitoring layer combine into a system that watches your operation — and surfaces what matters before anyone has to look.

What We Build

Complete visibility across every location — one live view, always current, with an agent layer that monitors it for you.

01
Transparency across every site
Every location, in the same format, with the same definitions, updated on a schedule — no one assembles a report. Leadership opens the dashboard and the picture is already there.
02
Knowledge that comes to you
Not raw data. Not a spreadsheet. A live intelligence layer that shows what's performing and what's drifting. And on top of that, we deploy an agent that monitors your dashboards automatically — checking every metric on a schedule and sending you a focused report on what actually needs your attention. You stop scanning dashboards. You start managing by exception.
03
Built around your business
Your sites, your metrics, your thresholds. We don't bring a template — we map what your organization actually tracks and wire it into a single view your leadership team can trust.

It doesn't matter whether your data lives in an ERP, a CRM, a scheduling tool, a spreadsheet, or all of the above. If it captures what's happening across your business, we can connect it — on infrastructure you already own.

How We Build It

This used to take months.
We've changed the build itself.

We use AI to build the entire data pipeline and intelligence model programmatically — every measure, every connection, every step. What used to take months of manual development can now be done in weeks, without cutting corners on the output.

And once the dashboards are live, we can layer an agent on top that monitors them for you — scanning every metric on a schedule and sending your team a concise briefing on what needs attention. Fresh data, plus automated triage. You don't go to the dashboard. The dashboard comes to you.

What you get is infrastructure your team owns and can extend. Add a location, change a metric, wire in a new source — it follows a written playbook. Not a new engagement.

01
Data Source Assessment
We map what you're running across locations — systems, files, feeds — and identify the data that would give your leadership team the clearest cross-site picture.
02
KPI Walkthrough with Your Teams
We sit with the people who actually run the numbers — across locations and functions — to understand exactly how each KPI is calculated in practice. Where documentation is missing or inconsistent, we produce it as part of this step, so every metric has a single agreed definition before we build anything.
03
Architecture Design
We design the intelligence layer scoped to your location structure, your sources, and the metrics your business actually tracks across sites.
04
Build & Deploy
We build the pipeline and model programmatically — every measure, threshold, and automated refresh configured and deployed to your environment.
05
Handoff with Documentation
A live dashboard, an automated pipeline, and complete documentation covering every metric, data source, and refresh schedule — so your team has everything they need to run it independently from day one.
06
Agent Layer  ·  Optional
Once the dashboards are live, we can deploy an agent that monitors them on your behalf. It checks every metric on a schedule, identifies what's off, and sends your team a focused report — covering only what needs attention. The war room watches itself. You only look at what matters.

For multi-location businesses that demand full visibility across every site — and the knowledge to make decisions with confidence.

Too complex for off-the-shelf tools. Too pragmatic for a six-month consulting engagement. We build for organizations that need real cross-site visibility — and want it done fast.

"Every location runs different tools. There's never been a single view of the whole business."
One schema, one set of definitions, one dashboard — regardless of what each location runs.
"Our leadership reviews are always based on data that's already weeks old."
Automated pipelines keep every location current on a schedule. Leadership opens the dashboard — the numbers are already there.
"I can feel that something is off. I just can't show it clearly enough to act."
When a metric drifts at any site, it surfaces automatically. With the agent layer, you don't even need to check — it monitors your dashboards and sends you a daily briefing on exactly what needs attention.
"We've looked at BI projects before and walked away from the timeline and cost."
We build the full intelligence layer in weeks, not months. You see it running before we talk about your stack.

If any of those landed — the next step is the video, or 30 minutes on a call where you see the system running, not a slide deck explaining what it could do.

Built for businesses that need real visibility — not another report.

See it for yourself.
Two ways in.

Ingestion
Bronze Layer
Raw Delta tables in OneLake. Full extract, no transformation. One table per source.
Transformation
Silver Layer
PySpark notebooks. Cleaned, typed, harmonized schema across all sources. Runs on Fabric Spark.
Aggregation
Gold Layer
KPI-ready Delta tables aggregated to site × month grain. One table per operational domain.
Serving
Power BI Semantic Model
Deployed to Fabric via API. DAX measures, relationships, and color thresholds built programmatically.
Build Methodology
  • MCP-native build — Fabric MCP + Power BI Modeling MCP connected simultaneously; the AI issues MCP tool calls directly to both services — no manual Power BI Desktop configuration, no scripts written by hand
  • Reproducible patterns — every MCP operation logged; confirmed working patterns stored in OneLake for replay
  • Live DAX validation — model queries executed against Analysis Services during build to verify correctness before deploy
Documentation & Handoff
  • SOPs delivered — refresh guide, data source playbook, semantic model update SOP, dashboard interpretation guide, pipeline runbook
  • Stored in OneLake — all documentation versioned and maintained automatically; accessible to your team from day one
  • Extensible by design — adding a site, metric, or data source follows a documented playbook; no dependency on us after handoff

Source-agnostic by design. The bronze layer accepts any REST-accessible endpoint, CSV, or file drop. The silver transformation is where source-specific logic lives — isolated from the gold layer and the semantic model. Adding a new source means writing one notebook, not rebuilding the model.
